The series, which was recently renewed for a third season, has enjoyed series-high ratings throughout most of the second season. While it boasts gritty, realistic takes on high school life and a distinct visual style thanks to creatorSam Levinson, the show is best known for the incredible cast of talent attached to the drama. Given their outstanding performances, it’s no surprise thatZendaya,Sydney Sweeney, and others have been a part of many other successful projects.

Zendaya -Spider-Man: No Way Home

Of course, we had to start with thethird highest-grossing film of all time. Euphoria’s particularly unreliable narrator made her third appearance as MJ, Spider-Man’s (Tom Holland) love interest and perpetually pessimistic best friend, inSpider-Man: No Way Home. After taking a supporting role in Spider-Man’s first solo MCU appearance,Spider-Man: Homecoming, the Emmy-winner has seen her screen-time significantly increase in the two subsequent films.

Though the future for MJ and Peter’s relationship is a little unclear at the minute, it’s safe to assume that the powers at Marvel will be desperate to bring back the fan-favorite character.

Sydney Sweeney and Brittany O’Grady in The White Lotus

Sydney Sweeny -The White Lotus

After a heartbreaking performance in the season one finale of Euphoria,Sydney Sweeneyheaded in search of brighter days. That search brought her toThe White Lotus,Mike White’sunexpected hit set entirely at a tropical resort in Hawaii. The series followed a group of guests whose lives intertwine and unravel while vacationing.

Blending dark comedy with complex relationships and a hotel manager (Murray Bartlett) at the end of his tether, audiences fell in love with the twisted characters checking in for an absolute disaster of a holiday. Thankfully for fans, there isn’t too long to wait before season two arrives, although unfortunately, Sydney Sweeney won’t be back for another trip.

Jacob Elordi -The Kissing Booth Trilogy

Though he plays the dark, twisted, and often violent Nate Jacobs on Euphoria, audiences were allowed to see a different side ofJacob Elordithrough his role as Noah Flynn inThe Kissing Boothtrilogy. Noah is almost the polar opposite of Nate; he’s romantic, caring, and often puts others before himself.

Given just how convincing Elordi is in his portrayal of the unpredictable Nate, it can be nice for audiences to distance themselves from his antagonistic side and instead fall in love with a lighter, more palatable character. With all three Kissing Booth films available on Netflix, there’s no shortage of Elordi for fans to enjoy.

Mid 90s Alexa Demie

Alexa Demie -Mid90s

The second season of Euphoria has not been kind to Maddy (Alexa Demie). Not only have Cassie and Nate been hooking up behind her back, but Nate also broke into her house and pressed a gun against her temple. Thankfully for Demie, things weren’t quite as dramatic (and certainly not as life-threatening) in A24’sMid90s.

The film follows Stevie (Sunny Suljic), a thirteen-year-old boy living in 1990s Los Angeles who must navigate between his troubled home life and a new group of skater friends. Given thatMid90swas written and directed by the hilariousJonah Hill, it’s no surprise the film is so charming and utterly enjoyable.

Maude Apatow -This Is 40

At just twenty-four years old,Maude Apatowhas already put together a resume that any actor would be proud of. While the rest of us were out climbing trees and watching films at the cinema, Maude was on film sets starring alongside her mother,Leslie Mannand her sister,Iris Apatow, in films directed by her father,Judd Apatow.

One such appearance came inThis Is 40,a spiritual sequel to Apatow’s earlier hitKnocked Up.Maude played Sadie, the eldest child of Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Mann) who endure one of the most dysfunctional relationships ever brought to screen. Maybe we should all fear turning forty.

Austin Abrams -Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark

Scary Stories To Tell In The Darkwas a delightfully scary surprise when it hit theaters back in 2019. Coming from the mind ofGuillermo Del Toro, the film was dark and twisted, managing to keep audiences on the edge of their seats for the entire runtime.

Harold in Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark movie

Austin Abrams, who plays the ridiculously lovely Ethan onEuphoria, held a small role in the film, being the first to be claimed by the sinister notebook that terrorizes a small group of friends in 1968.Scary Stories To Tell In The Darkwas a massive hit with audiences, and excitement is high for the upcoming sequel that willclosely follow Stephen Gammell’s traumatizing artwork.

Eric Dane -X-Men: The Last Stand

Eric Dane considers his role as Euphoria’s Cal Jacobs"a dream," and it isn’t hard to spot why. The character allows him to showcase his vast range as an actor, exuding power in one scene to desperately begging for help in another, and his character is only going to land in more trouble as the season progresses.

However, this isn’t the first role of his that’s been admired by fans. WhileX-Men: The Last Standis not remembered particularly fondly by fans, they certainly enjoyed Dane’s portrayal of Multiple Man, a criminally underused character in the film.

Storm Reid -The Invisible Man

Storm Reiddoesn’t have it easy on the screen. Not only was she abandoned by her assassin father, Bloodshot (Idris Elba), inThe Suicide Squadand forced to watch her sister Rue relapse once again in the second season ofEuphoria, but she was also terrorized by a psychopath in an invisible suit.

Storm played Sydney inThe Invisible Man,the daughter of James (Aldis Hodge), a kind-hearted family man who takes in Cecilia (Elisabeth Moss) after she flees from an abusive relationship. The film is a masterclass in the art of building tension, thanks to writer-directorLeigh Whannell, who brings a tremendous amount of realism to a premise that could easily have been silly in the wrong hands.

Sydney Sweeney -The Voyeurs

Enjoying huge success across several television projects, Sydney Sweeney made the jump to film withThe Voyeurs, in which she played central protagonist Pippa. The film follows Pippa and Thomas (Justice Smith), a young couple who move into their dream apartment only to become obsessed with the seemingly toxic couple who live across the street.

After seeing her shine in supporting roles, it was nice to see Sweeney really showcase her talent in a leading role, effortlessly handling her character’s complex arc from unsatisfied girlfriend to a revenge-seeking force to be reckoned with. A word of warning before watching this, try not to spy on your neighbors. It won’t end well.

Zendaya - The Greatest Showman

Is there anything Zendaya can’t do? She can make us laugh; she can make us cry and, impressively, she can make us listen to a song on repeat until we start to lose our minds. Of course, we’re referencing her performance as Anne Wheeler in the feel-good musicalThe Greatest Showman. Her role as Rocky Blue on the hit Disney Channel seriesShake It Uphelped her transition to the world of a musical, ensuring she was more than prepared to take part in complex, eye-catching, and utterly enjoyable dance routines.

Fans loved her chemistry withZac Efronand the rest of the cast, includingHugh Jackman,Michelle Williams, andRebecca Ferguson. Though she is only a supporting character, Zendaya definitely played a significant role in making this film the breakout smash it became, and let’s be honest; we’ve all spent far too much time listening to ‘Rewrite The Stars.’
