Additionally, Twitch will be the exclusive streaming partner for Crunchyroll’s Anime Awards. They’ve teamed up to stream anime marathons in the past, but this will be the first time they’re coming together for an event. Viewers at home can predict the winners by voting live on the Twitch stream. Special VIP guests likeJohnny O’Bryant, formerly of the Charlotte Hornets and now of the manga companyNoir Caesar, will be in attendance, and there will be live stage performances as well.
In addition to live-streaming the Anime Awards, Twitch will be airing a US-only marathon of some of this year’s nominees beginningThursday, February 22nd at 9:00am PTand leading up to the live awards show on February 24th:
