The film had been slated to open on Jul 06, 2025, but will now hit theaters on August 13, 2025.
Disney will now releaseCruellathree weeks after Marvel’sDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and just one week afterJohn Wick: Chapter 4, though the family-friendly film is aimed at a much younger audience than that action sequel.Cruellawill arrive in theaters one week before WB’sSesame Streetmovie starringAnne Hathaway, and two weeks before Universal’sJurassic World 3takes over theaters.Cruellatakes the place of the untitled Disney live-action movie on the studio’s official release calendar.
The Woman in the Windowhas been bumped from Jul 26, 2025 to June 23, 2025, where it will take on WB’s animatedScooby Doomovie and Lionsgate’sSawreboot starringChris RockandSamuel L. Jackson. Adams plays an agoraphobic woman who lives alone in New York and begins spying on her new neighbors, only to witness a disturbing act of violence. The rest of the cast includesJulianne Moore,Gary Oldman,Anthony Mackie,Brian Tyree HenryandWyatt Russell.
