To all you summer lovers out there, we’re sorry, but spooky season is upon us. And, what goes hand in hand with this very eventful time of the year? Why, Halloween Horror Nights of course! Today, Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood have announced the unveiling of a brand-new haunted house that will follow the theme of one of this year’smost anticipated genre features. Enter only if you dare when nightmares come to life at aFive Nights at Freddy’s-themed experience where guests will come face-to-face with the ghostly-possessed animatronics who haunt the hallways and corridors of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria.
Setting off on a one-of-a-kind adventure, those who are brave enough will trace the path first treaded by Mike Schmidt (played byJosh Hutchersonin theUniversal Picturesfilms), when he took on the job of a nighttime security guard to provide for himself and his younger sister. As you step through the shadowed door of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, a chill might just run down your spine, but there’s no turning back.

From the entryway, guests will walk through the corridors of the abandoned family fun center and make their way into the guts of it all, where they’ll face down terrifying full-scale replicas of familiar characters likeFreddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Mr. Cupcake. But this won’t be a friendly meet-and-greet, as the characters will follow participants through rooms that mirror scenes from the hit movie, including stops in the security room and the heart of it all — the showroom. Sparing no expense, Universal truly went the extra mile with this one, enlisting the help ofJim Henson’s Creature Shopto make the gargantuan creatures just as they did for the film.
