Fromcrimetocomedy,CBS' 2025 fall schedule is shaping up to have something for everyone. The network’s fall offerings include a ton of returning favorites — includingElsbeth,Ghosts, and theKathy Bates-helmedMatlock— as well as some fresh (blue) blood withBoston Blue, a spin-off from theBlue Bloodsuniverse starringDonnie Wahlbergand former Starfleet CaptainSonequa Martin-Green.
Alongside CBS' usual crime-centric darlings (looking at you,FBIandNCIS), a new anagram has been added to the slate:DMV, a workplace comedy set in one of the worst places on earth. There’s tons more to explore across CBS' 2025-2026 slate, but here’s 10 of their most exciting new and returning shows.

10’Tracker'
Sundays at 8:00 PM
CBS boasts a lot of #1 shows, but onlyTrackerboasts the title of the #1 series on television. Based on the novelThe Never Gameand starringJustin Hartley,Trackerfollows the life of survivalist and (you guessed it) tracker Colter Shaw as he assists local law enforcement in tracking down missing persons.
Season 2 saw Shaw’s world expand big time. The past caught up to the renowned survivalist in a big way, leading Shaw and his team to some big revelations — including the identity of his father’s killer. Season 3 will surely Shaw and his team grappling with the implications of that twist, as well as some of the good ‘ol clue-following viewers have come to know and love. The show also set upa new villain for Shawto go head-to-head with, and this one might just be worse than any he’s faced before.

Mondays at 8:30 PM
CBS’ sitcom lineup has something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for ’90s era family shenanigans withGeorgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, interested in some silly neighbor dynamics inThe Neighborhood, or hoping to see some ghosts get up to some supernatural nonsense inGhosts, CBS' sitcoms are unexpected delights. What the network is really missing is something that reflects the absurdity of working in customer-facing jobs in 2025, but that is set to change this year.
Fall will see the network add to their offerings with workplace comedy DMV, a single-camera sitcom based on a short story by Katherine Heiny. The show will take place at — surprise, surprise — the DMV, and follow a cast of colorful, minimum-wage-earning characters who work at one of the most frustrating places in the world. The customers they serve will no doubt make for some of the weirdest, funniest, anddefinitelymost infuriating characters in the show.

Mondays at 9:00 PM
The infinitely spin-offableFBIbegan in 2018. LegendaryLaw & OrdercreatorDick WolfcreatedFBIalongsideCraig Turk, and since its inception the franchise has expanded to includeFBI: Most WantedandFBI: International. Most Wantedlasted six seasons, andInternationalfour before being canceled by CBS in March 2025. However,FBIsurvived the cuts, and even earned itself another spin-off:CIA, which is slated to premiere in the fall.
The franchise’s flagship remains as strong as ever. CBS made the rare decision to giveFBIa two-season order earlier this year, ensuring the show an eighth and ninth season that will air through to 2027. The show stars Missy Peregrym and is centered around the cases and lives of FBI agents working in the famed bureau’s New York City field office.

Mondays at 10:00 PM
While theFBIuniverse may have lost two of its spin-offs (RIP), CBS greenlit a third:CIA, starring Tom Ellis. The series is set to follow a rule-breaking case officer played by Ellis, who finds himself partnered with a much more by-the-book FBI agent. The series will take place in New York and find the odd couple working out of the CIA’s New York Station.
Not much more has been released about the show, butCBS did say that the duowill find that “their differences may actually be their strength.” There’s just something so magnetic about watching two opposites work together. While only Ellis has been announced as a cast member so far, it’s surely only a matter of time until the show finds the Scully to his Mulder.

6’NCIS' Night
Tuesdays at 8:00 PM
Craving moreNCIS in your life? Jones-ing for more of those upstart naval investigators? Then CBS has the lineup for you. Elsbeth’ssecond season featured a host of big-name celebrities to flesh out its titular character’s universe, includingNathan Lane,Mary-Louise Parker,Alyssa Milano,Vanessa Williams, andMichael Emerson— Preston’s real-life husband.Season 2 ofElsbethconcludedwith a full-blown musicalreenactment ofChicago’s"Cell Block Tango.“A show unafraid to be a little out there and go full camp is definitely one to keep an eye on, and CBS agrees: it was renewed for season 3 back in February.
4’Sheriff Country'
Fridays at 8:00 PM
From the world ofFire CountrycomesSheriff Country, the first spin-off of the Noun-Country universe.Fire Countrysees convict Bode Donovan (series creator and starMax Thieriot) volunteer to join a fire-fighting program for prisoners in an effort to shorten his prison sentence. He ends up stationed in his hometown in Northern California and must deal with all the drama that comes with being a fire-fighting former convict.
Sheriff Countrytakes a different tone fromFire. StarringMorena Baccarin,Sheriff Countrywill see Baccarinportray Sheriff Mickey Fox, a “straight shooter” based out of the small town of Edgewater. She has no shortage of issues to deal with, from her ex-con father (W. 3’Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage'
Thursdays at 8:00 PM
Much likeElsbeth,Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriageis a spin-off of a spin-off. The show focuses on Georgie Cooper (Montana Jordan), the elder brother ofThe Big Bang TheoryandYoung Sheldon’s Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons), and his marriage to Mandy McAllister (Emily Osment). The two wed when Mandy, who is 12 years Georgie’s senior, discovers she’s pregnant with his child after a hookup between the two. Audiences know the fate of the marriage thanks to Georgie’s presence onThe Big Bang Theory, and the show plays neatly with the dynamics of a relationship viewers know may fail.
After the success ofThe Big Bang TheoryandYoung Sheldon, another spin-off seemed like a no-brainer for the big-brain franchise.Georgie & Mandyis a hit on CBS — it’s now the #1 comedy, and wasrenewed for a second seasonin February 2025. Audiences just love the Cooper family.

1’Boston Blue'
Fridays at 10:00 PM
Blue Bloodsis dead. Long liveBlue Bloods. The massively popular procedural ended its 14-season run in 2024, but CBS wasted no time in spinning it off:Boston Blue, starring Donnie Wahlberg and Sonequa Martin-Green, will begin airing on Fridays in the fall.
Wahlberg will portray NYPD officer Danny Reagan, a role he originated inBlue Bloodsand played through all 14 of its seasons. Reagan will find himself in new territory when he relocates from New York to Boston and swaps his NYPD badge for a shiny new Boston PD one. There, he’ll be paired with detective Lena Silvers (Martin-Green) and, well, likely start solving crimes. It’s a procedural, after all. As for the rest of the Reagan clan making an appearance?Wahlberg says never say never.
