A24 has released the firstGreen Roomteaser trailer online. The film centers on a punk rock band that witness an act of violence backstage at a neo-Nazi dive bar that they weren’t meant to see. They then hole up in the green room and try to figure out how to escape while the bar’s owner (Patrick Stewart) devises a way to dispose of the young rockers.
In the teaser, Stewart scares the living crap out of those in hiding, telling them, “to be clear … it won’t end well.” I whole-heartedly believe him. The voice-over against scenes of the two sides gearing up excels in ramping-up the tension. Can we all agree that Stewart is the best? If you want to see a lighter side to him, though, I recommend checking out Starz’s seriesBlunt Talk.
