What Is ‘Alien: Earth’ About?
For the first time ever, the Xenomorphs are coming to humanity’s home turf, and the small screen, inAlien: Earth, courtesy ofFargo’sNoah Hawley. Set in 2120, two years before the events of the originalAlien, the series centers around the spaceshipMaginot, which crashes to Earth after picking up some unwanted passengers of the face-hugging variety. A team of human soldiers and a crew of synthetics are sent to recover it, and what they discover may spell doom for the human race. The series starsSydney Chandleras Wendy, a human consciousness transferred into a synthetic body;Timothy Olyphantas Kirsh, Wendy’s synthetic mentor; andAlex Lawtheras CJ, Wendy’s still-human brother. It’s set to hit FX and Hulu on August 12.
