TheBosch: Legacyfandom isn’t giving up — and neither isDenise G. Sanchez. As the dust settles following the surprise cancellation ofBosch: Legacy, Sanchez, who played the fan-favoriteReina Vasquez, Maddie Bosch’s partner on the force, across all three seasons, is speaking out about the emotional roller coaster of saying goodbye — and the powerful push from fans to bring the show back.

Bosch: Legacy

With more than 34,000 signatures and counting, the SaveBosch: Legacypetition has become a rallying cry for viewers who refuse to let Harry Bosch’s (Titus Welliver) story end on a quiet note, and for Sanchez personally, the love shown to the show via the campaign has been a source of hope and gratitude during a challenging period.

“There was so much I wanted to say, but I had to remain respectful. There was a lot that I didn’t know. Even with the SaveBosch: Legacygroup, I was proactive but silent because there were so many theories… Once the petition got on the ground and the fans were having the discussion… it sparked so much joy and gratefulness.”
