AsCollider’s Exclusive Previewevent rolls along, we wouldn’t wantCountdownfans to feel left out. Today, we’ve got yourJensen Acklesand co. fix for our readers with two brand-new images that tease the action, drama, and potential romance that’s on the way in the four remaining episodes. So far, the latest crime drama to come from Prime Video has captivated audiences, withOne ChicagocreatorDerek Haasstriking gold with his new series. The title’s breakout season has proved that the stakes are high and that Haas, who also serves as the project’s showrunner, isn’t afraid of cracking some eggs to make an omelette — or in the case ofCountdown— killing off some favorites to stack the stakes higher.
For those out there who are stanning theblossoming relationshipbetween Ackles’ Mark Meachum andJessica Camacho’s Amber Oliveras, we’ve got just the thing for you. While our first exclusive image isn’t a steamy shot between the pair, it does a good job of demonstrating their working relationship that has served as a foundation for something more to grow (hopefully). In the picture, the pair stand on a torn-up sidewalk with an overgrowth of weeds sticking out of a fence behind them. Directly next to them is a garage door, but it doesn’t seem like this point of entry is their target, as their attention is drawn to something off-camera.

Countdownmay have lured us in with theSupernaturalandThe Boysstar as one of the primary characters, but it’s brought us back week after week thanks to the found family at the center of the tale. With every episode that plays out, we’re drawn closer and closer to Meachum and Oliveras’ teammates, and our second image depicts them hot on the trail of their suspect. At what appears to be an open crime scene, Meachum and Oliveras stand to one side, while their peers, Keyonte Bell (Elliot Knight) and Luke Finau (Uli Latukefu), flank them on the other with each one of the agents’ faces fixed on what’s in front of them.
Season 1 of ‘Countdown’ Has Been Filled With Twists and Turns
So far this season,Eric Dane’s FBI Special Agent Nathan Blythe has assembled an impressive group of law enforcement officials from different backgrounds to put an end to a terrorist organization threatening Los Angeles. We’ve seen someshocking deathsand some even moresurprising survivalswhile Meachumcontinues to hide his brain tumor diagnosisfrom everyone on the team. Everyone except Oliveras, that is. With thethreat continuing to grow, there are only a few episodes left to see how things will come to an end following the show’s debut season.
