To commemorate what is arguable one of the best sci-fi films of the past decade,Vice Pressis releasing an officially licensed, limited-edition, glow-in-the-dark(!) screen print, and Collider has your exclusive first look.
Illustrator and comic book artistMatt Tayloris the guy who created these incredibleBack to the Future II,Brick, andWhere the Wild Things Areprints for Mondo. He returned with this psychedelic design forAttack the Block, which is very much channeling the same vibe Marvel went for with the companion comics forDaredevilandJessica Jones. Boyega’s Moses takes the spotlight as he faces a horde of vicious aliens with a katana.
Taylor said in a press release:
Attack the Blockis a bit of an under-looked gem of a movie - that mix of comedy with genuinely scary sci-fi horror, and I wanted to do the movie justice for this release. John Boyega’s Moses is such a magnetic character, he had to be front and centre, standing down the aliens advancing on him, with the whole thing at a titled uneasy angle that hopefully calls to mind the seventies horror and sci-fi that the film is indebted to.
The print will be available first atThought Bubble Sequential Art Festivalon Saturday, November 14th, and Sunday, November 15th. The remaining copies will then be sold onVice Presson Monday, November 16th.
