Things have been a bit chaotic lately over at The CW withArrowannouncing it’scoming to an endquickly followed bySupernatural, which we all just assumed would outlive us all,doing the same. Luckily,Legends of Tomorrowthrives on chaos, and a new mid-season 4 trailer demonstrates that the Arrowverse’s weirdest, wildest step-child is as delightfully insane as ever.
Some very important things to point out over the trailer’s packed two-and-a-half minutes:Caity Lotz’s Sara Lance andNick Zano’s Nate Heywood dressed as Supergirl and Green Arrow, respectively, making light of the Legends missing out on last year’s annual Arrowverse crossover. (Shoutout toAdam Tsekhman’s Gary as The Flash.) Mummies. Lucha Libre wrestling. The Legends kidnapping Richard Nixon and bringing him to Disneyland. A Bollywood musical number.
This show is just the best, man. If the CW can somehow finagle that brief Justice League dress-up moment to getBrandon Routhinto a Superman costume, there is a certain subset of the internet that will not survive. (I am a part of it.)

The Legends continue their new mission to protect the timeline from temporal aberrations - unusual changes to history that spawn potentially catastrophic consequences. When Nate, the grandson of J.S.A. member Commander Steel, unexpectedly finds himself with powers, he must overcome his own insecurities and find the hero within himself. Ultimately, the Legends will clash with foes both past and present, to save the world from a mysterious new threat.
