It’s now been over a year since the second season ofInterview with the Vampiredebuted on AMC+, but updates on the third season have been quiet for a while now. However, it’s now been officially announced thatInterview with the VampireSeason 3willbegin production next month in Toronto and will return to streaming sometime in 2026. Plot details about the second season are being kept under wraps, but it will feature more ofSam Reid’s Vampire Lesat and his rock band, now on tour.Jacob Andersonwill also reprise his role as Louis de Pointe de Lac inInterview with the VampireSeason 3. The show currently sits at a nearly flawless 98% rating from critics onRotten Tomatoes, but the audience-driven Popcornmeter falls to 77%.
There have been 15 episodes ofInterview with the Vampirethus far through two seasons, and only four stars have appeared in all of them. Both the aforementioned Sam Reid and Jacob Anderson have starred in every episode ofInterview with the Vampire, butEric BogosianandAssad Zamanhave also featured in all 15 episodes of the show to date as Daniel Molloy and Armand/Rashid, respectively. Following behind them with seven episodes under her belt isDelainey Hayles, who stars as Claudia, andBally Gill, who can also be seen as Rashid. The rest of the cast is filled out byBen Danielsas Santiago,Suzanne Andradeas Celeste,Esme Appletonas Estelle,Jack Cecilas Gustave,Christopher Gearyas Samuel Barclay,Khetphet Phagnasayas Quang Pham,Yung Nguyenas Tuan Pham, andAndrew Van Wilpeas Romaine.

Interview with the Vampire— both the modern series and theBrad PittandTom Cruise-led 1994 film — are based on the series of novels by Anne Rice. Rice also wrote the script for the movie, andNeil Jordanwas tapped to direct. The film was mostly well-received, albeit not as much as the show. It earned scores of 63% from critics and 86% from audiences onRotten Tomatoes, and also starsAntonio Banderas,Kirsten Dunst,Christian Slater, and more.
