Camp Rockcurrently sits at #6 on Disney+’s Top 10 charts in the United States on August 03, 2025, sitting betweenIce AgeandEyes of Wakada. This film stars Lovato as Mitchie, who attends Camp Rock during the summer, but decides to lie about who she is when she learns that her fellow campers are well-connected in the music industry. Meanwhile, Shane Gray (Joe Jonas) is the lead singer of the pop group trio, Connect 3, and attends Camp Rock as an instructor to rehabilitate his public image.

Camp Rockreceived mixed reviews, earning a 50% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes. However, fans adore the cult classic and have given it a 75% rating, streaming its hit songs millions of times on Spotify. The song “This Is Me,” performed by Lovato and Jonas, is the album’s most popular track, racking up over 227 million streams. During its broadcast,it was reported thatCamp Rockscored 9 million viewers, surpassing the 2006’sHigh School Musical. Additionally, the positive fan reception led to the creation ofCamp Rock 2: The Final Jam, which featured new songs and a broadcast competition against newcomer Camp Star.

What Happened During the Surprise ‘Camp Rock’ Reunion?

August 10 was the start of the Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour by The Jonas Brothers, which celebrated the group’s 20th anniversary. The tour kicked off at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and is set to close in Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut on July 27, 2025. During the first night, the band surprised audiences as they invited Lovato on stage,creating an impromptu Camp Rock reunion. From there, they sang the duets featured in the film and its sequel - “This is Me” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing.”

At the moment, there is no official update on whetherCamp Rock 3is in the works. During an appearance onHot Ones Versus, Joe Jonas was asked to read his “last note entry” out loud, in which he uttered “read Camp Rock 3,” followed by an apology to Disney. Since that appearance, the House of Mouse neither confirmed nor denied whether what the Jonas Brothers said was true.
