When the first look atOscar Isaac’s Apocalypse hit the internet, a lot of fans and audieneces were less than pleased, with many comparing the look to one of the villains from the originalPower Rangersseries. AndBryan Singerheard you. During an interview with IGN, Singer explainedhis choices regarding Oscar Isaac’s Apocalypsesaying when the image was released, it had a pink effect to it and was not the final image. Later in the interview, Singer addressed the fan’s criticisms regarding Isaac’s height, saying everyone complained aboutHugh Jackmanas Wolverine and Quicksilver’s costume inX-Men: Days of Future Past. He believes the fans will get over it once they see the movie. He also stands by Oscar Isaac as the big baddie.
Kong: Skull Islandis set to be released next year, but before the people at Legendary Pictures can release a single frame of the movie, they have to address the 800-pound gorilla in the room. ArtistJoe DeVitoclaims he created an entire Skull Island universe surrounding King Kong, with the blessing of the originalKing Kongcreator’s family. Now he’s suing the producers at Legendary Pictures. DeVito claims in February 2014, Lorenzo di Bonaventura Television agreed to develop the project but ultimately passed on the project. After searching for other producing partners, DeVito claims that in July 2014 he came to an agreement with Warner Bros to produce the movie. That same summer, Legendary announced its release of aSkull Islandmotion picture. DeVito is seeking compensation and credit, seeking at least $3.5 million in general and punitive damages. Legendary declined to comment.

The all-female comedy is intended to be R-rated and a complement to the studio’s all-female reboot ofGhostbusters.Matt TolmachandDave Beckyare producing with principal photography set to begin in late August.
Though critics and most movie going audiences didn’t thinkBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justicelived up to the hype, theZack Snyderfilm that launched the DC Cinematic Universe has nonetheless becomethe seventh highest-grossing comic book movie worldwide. According to The Hollywood Reporter, box office numbers following Sunday’s earnings state that the film has grossed a global cumulative total of $862.9 million with THR noting the film could finish its theatrical run in the $875 million sector. With $325.1 million of that number coming from North American ticket sales,Batman v Supermanlands just behindSam Raimi’sSpider-Man 3and a few million away from the firstSpider-Manmovie. Warner Bros. should be optimistic about the film’s performance, with box office analyst Jeff Bock telling THR that when you adjust for inflation, this is the highest-grossing DC superhero property, ever.
Zach Snyder is already hard at work onJustice LeaguePart 1which will findBen Affleck’sBatman rounding up the members of the superhero team after the events ofBatman v. Superman. Though the production has been underway for weeks now, a lot of fans don’t know exactly which characters are expected to reprise their roles from BvS. But thanks toJeremy Irons, we have confirmation that Alfred will, in fact, return. While speaking with Showbiz411,Irons confirmed his loyal butler/father figurewho reluctantly helps Bruce Wayne’s Batman, will be returning. However, the size of his role inJustice Leagueis not yet known at the moment.

Hey guys, love the show. My question is regarding one of my favorite movie seriesTHE GODFATHER. I was wondering what you guys would think of a sequel toTHE GODFATHER PART IIItaking place in modern day in which the grandson of Michael Corleone is forced into the family business paralleling the arch of the first film in which Michael was forced into the mob. The beauty about doing anotherGODFATHERfilm today would be many of the principle cast are still alive likeTalia Shire,Diane KeatonandAndy Garcia, so we already have an all star supporting cast who have deep connections to the mythos. It would take place in modern day, which would be a new setting for these characters and this world. It would also bring back a proper mafia film. Also, I know Kristian has been clamoring forTom Hardyto be in a gangster film, and I think he would a perfect choice to play a descendent to Michael Corleone. Thanks guys, and keep on keepin' on.
