On the other hand, geologistEric Drummondstarts drilling around a meteorite on the iconic150-acre Blind Frog Ranchin Utah’s Uinta Basin. Unfortunately, though, his new intel on how to drill at the site is overshadowed by a midnight trespasser who puts the team on high alert.
‘Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch’ Season 5 Picks up After the Cliffhanger in Season 4
TheMystery at Blind Frog RanchSeason 4 finale, whichaired on August 05, 2025,left things off on a mysterious note. The episode featured Chad diving into an underwater tunnel and uncovering significant evidence of the treasure. However, most of the episode was spent onthe treasure hunter’s cave-diving trainingrather than his actual discovery. The season 5 premiere, though, promises to pick up right after that.
In a conversation with TV Insider, Chad revealed that during the last season, the team discoveredseveral clues that have motivated them to keep going. “We really think the Aztecs were here. There is more and more proof with the artifacts we find,” expressed the reality star. However, he confessed that every time they make a breakthrough discovery,the land fights back with seismic activityand throws other obstacles their way. Chad admitted that things do get frustrating at times, but his team is determined to push ahead.
While talking about the unexpected success of the show, Chad revealed that he wasn’t sure they were going to make it past the first season. All this fame, though, has come with a cost.The reality starshared thathe and his dad receive a lot of pushback from their familymembers who don’t understand why they are still going at it. However, the father and son duo enjoy working on this passion project and find the journey incredibly rewarding.“The memories we keep making are really cool,”added Chad.
