During the interview, he talked about how this film is different from any previous version of Robin Hood, how he got involved in the project, how this version isn’t meant to be a history lesson, deleted scenes, what he learned from early screenings, and a lot more. In addition, with Bathurst currently working on the BBC/HBO adaptation ofPhilip Pullman‘sHis Dark Materials, he revealed why he was excited to get involved in the project and how they are spending eight hours telling the story of the first book.
