Tom Hollandis always full of surprises. The fan-favorite actor has a full calendar this year with big tentpole films, includingChristopher Nolan’sThe Odysseyand the upcomingSpider-Man 4. While details about the former are scarce, filming details of the upcoming iteration of the web-slinger have recently surfaced, and it’ll make fans very happy. No, Holland did not accidentally let it slip (like in the good old days) but the confirmation came from his charity,The Brothers Trust.
Holland’s charity has announced a raffle with a grand prize: “A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, Tom Holland, in London, on the movie set of Marvel’s Spider-Man 4.” Further details of the competition revealed thatproduction will run from the summer through the autumn season in his hometown London, where the winners of the sweepstakes will be able to meet Holland and visit the sets.
What Do We Know About ‘Spider-Man 4’?
The details about the project are tightly kept under wraps, but one can make an educated guess that after the events ofSpider-Man: No Way Home, Peter will be starting a new life given everyone who knew him has forgotten his identity, including Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Ned (Jacob Batalon), and MJ (Zendaya). In the final moments of the feature, we see Peter trying to reconnect with them but choosing not to do so. It remains to be seen how and if Peter will reunite with them and what he does with the knowledge of the multiverse, given we are nearing the end of the Multiverse Saga.
Holland previously teased the thrilling scriptof the upcoming film, revealing, “We’re working now, pedal is to the metal, we’re trying to get it going as soon as possible… but there’s still a lot of moving pieces that need to come together for us to hit the ground running. It needs work but the writers are doing a really great job. I read it three weeks ago, and it really lit a fire in me.Zendaya and I sat down and read it together and we, at times, were bouncing around the living room.”
The next place Holland is expected to pop up isAvengers: Secret Warsas Spider-Man has a big role in the comic storyline. The feature will reunite him with his mentorRobert Downey Jrand theRusso Brothers– the team that supported his debut inCaptain America: Civil War.
