Warner Bros. is loading up its arsenal forTaylor Sheridan’slatest project.F.A.S.T., a high-octane action thrillerpenned by theYellowstoneand1923creator, has just enlistedLaKeith Stanfield,Jason Clarke,Sam Claflin, andTrevante Rhodesto join previously announced leadBrandon Sklenar. It’s no surprise to see big names wanting to be part of aSheridan project, given the star power he’s been able to attract to his television shows, with the likes ofHarrison Ford, Billy Bob Thornton, Sylvester Stallone, andSamuel L. Jacksonalready on the roster.
Behind the camera isBen Richardson, Sheridan’s go-to director on1923and an acclaimed cinematographer in his own right. The film is being produced byDavid Heyman and Jeffrey Cliffordof Heyday Films, along with Sheridan andJenny Woodfor Bosque Ranch Productions. Warner Bros. president of productionJesse Ehrmanand executive VPKevin McCormickare overseeing the project.

What Is ‘F.A.S.T. About?
F.A.S.T.centers on Sklenar’s character, aformer special forces commando who’s fallen on hard times since returning home. When the DEA comes knocking, he’s given a shot at redemption — but it’s far from a clean mission. Tasked with leading a black-ops strike team against drug dealers under CIA protection, he finds himself in a dangerous game where loyalty and survival are constantly at odds. Stanfield, Clarke, Claflin, and Rhodes are set to play a mix of DEA agents and the commando’s old Delta Force teammates.
Stanfield, who earned an Oscar nominationforJudas and the Black Messiah, has been on a genre-bending run in recent years, moving from Disney’sHaunted MansiontoJeymes Samuel’sThe Book of Clarence, as well as leading Apple TV+’s unsettling fantasy dramaThe Changeling. Clarke is gearing up for one of his busiest years yet, headliningApple TV+’s crime thrillerThe Last Frontier,which he also executive-produced, and taking on the role ofAlex Murdaughin an upcoming Hulu limited series. On the film side, he’s reuniting withKathryn BigelowforA House of Dynamite, a project already tipped as a potential awards contender.

Claflin, still belovedfor his turn as Finnick Odair inThe Hunger Gamesseries, recently earned acclaim for his performance in Prime Video’sDaisy Jones & The Sixand the lavish new adaptation ofThe Count of Monte Cristo. Rhodes, best known for his breakout role in the Oscar-winningMoonlight, most recently brought his intensity toTyler Perry’s crime thrillerMea Culpa.
