After a long wait,The Bad Guys 2is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited about it. In order to hype fans up even more, Collider can exclusively unveil a new poster for the upcoming animated movie. It highlights the movie’s theatrical premiere on 4DX screens, and the art hints at trouble for Mr. Wolf (voiced bySam Rockwell) and his friends. You can check out the poster in this article.

If there is any indication, the poster suggests that Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake (Marc Maron), Mr. Piranha (Anthony Ramos), Mr. Shark (Craig Robinson), and Ms. Tarantula (Awkwafina) will end up at the very center of a wrestling ring. More than that, it looks like the group is about to get beaten up by three massiveluchadoreswho look like they mean business. How did they get into this situation? How will they get out of it? We will only find out next month when the movie premieres.

At the same time,The Bad Guys 2trailer has already revealed that a WWE ring will not be the most surreal place that Mr. Wolf and the gang will end up in. Somehow, they will even go to outer space this time around! But maybe the biggest shock of the sequel isthat the bad guys will no longer be bad. In fact, they are all trying to live normal and heist-free lives when they are recruited by a group of girls who want to pull off the greatest robbery ever. Not the best thing to do when you’re trying to quit a life of crime.

It’s a little early to start thinking about another sequel — first, we have to see howThe Bad Guys 2fares in theaters. However, that hasn’t stopped co-directorsPierre PerifelandJ.P. Sansfrom having fun with ideas forThe Bad Guys 3. During an interview with Collider’sSteve Weintraub, the duo revealed that they have beenmildly encouraged to work on sequel ideas. Sans stated:

“It’s the same thing on the first one. We were so excited to see where we could go next with these characters that we started brainstorming the sequel before we were even done with animation. But it was just us being excited about it. Naturally, we’re kind of doing the same thing, but now the studio is like, ‘Yes. Continue.'”

Also to Collider, the duo hinted that there’s plenty to enjoy inThe Bad Guys 2, and called the new adventure a sort of"Mission: Impossiblefor kids.“So, for now, we can just kick back and keep counting down the days tocheck out the sequel in theaters.
