Fraser is certainly one of the best cinematographers working today, utilizing cutting-edge camera technology to craft unique images in films as varied asZero Dark Thirty,Vice, andKilling Them Softly. Frasier is currently hard at work serving as DP onDenis Villneuve’s upcoming sci-fi filmDune, and he was involved in the live-actionStar WarsTV seriesThe Mandalorianin some capacity.

As a huge fan of Frasier’s work, I cannot wait to see what he does with the franchise.Christopher Nolanworked closely with DPWally Pfisterto craft the gritty yet cinematically epic aesthetic forThe Dark Knighttrilogy, whileZack Snyderpushed the dark, iconographic nature of Batman with DPLarry FongonBatman v Superman. Frasier is known for elegant, crisp, and character-driven frames, so consider me thrilled by this news.
