After a production so tortured it warranted its own documentary (Lost in La Mancha),Terry Gilliam’sThe Man Who Killed Don Quixotefinally went in front of cameras and played at Cannes last year. Now it’s set to hit U.S. theaters and we’re pleased to debutThe Man Who Killed Don Quixoteteaser poster. The film follows a cynical advertising director (Adam Driver) that finds himself trapped in the delusions of a Spanish cobbler (Jonathan Pryce), who believes himself to be Don Quixote with the executive as his Sancho Panza.

I like the look of this teaser poster, and I think it will grab people’s attention. Die-hard Gilliam fans are already on board to see this movie, and while Gilliam has never stopped making films (he comes out with a movie ever four to five years),The Man Who Killed Don Quixotehas always remained something of a white whale for the filmmaker and his fans. Regardless of how it ultimately turned out, it’s a film that must be seen if only to completely the journey.
