One may argue that the men were being wrongly accused despite the women citing clear proof and having a set of witnesses to back their claims. However, the men didn’t stand a fighting chance to redeem themselves since theybacktracked on their initial storyand started fumbling for words to respond to the accusations. Eventually, when they couldn’t muster a logical explanation,they proceeded to gaslight their former partners.

Watching the men lie with so much ease was hard to watch during theLove Is BlindSeason 8 reunion. Monicaaccused Joeyof sliding intoMadison Errichiello’s DM’s, and he vehementlydenied that his intentions transcended anything beyond platonic. However, Monica spilled that Joey had alleged that Madison was coming on to him, which eventually led thewomen to have an honest conversation, confront him, and demand an explanation. Backed into a corner, Joey lied about having said anything of that sort despite the women revealing that they’d gotten him to confess to spreading a false narrative.

The rest of the men, however, are a whole other story. It became evident thatthey lacked eleven an ounce of emotional maturity.David revealed that it was only after he’d gotten to know the guyLauren O’Brienhad hooked up with in the past that he realized he was a clout-chaser.
This is no surprise since Lauren had been saying this the whole time and literally begging him to believe her. David’s lack of maturity and trust in his partner at the time was laughable. The menlacked the judgment skills and intelligenceto tackle the complexities of a serious relationship. At this point, it’s fair to say that the men onLove Is BlindSeason 8 did not pass the vibe check, and the casting directors should’ve done a better job becausethese women deserved much better.
