It follows Cher (Silverstone), a popular girl at the top of her Beverly Hills high school’s pecking order. She sees herself as amatchmakerand even coaxes two teachers into dating. Upon her success, she then sets eyes on hopelessly klutzy new student Tai (Brittany Murphy) and gives her a makeover. When Tai becomes more popular than she is,Cher realizes how misguided she was.The movie made $88 million at the worldwide box office and has an 82%Rotten Tomatoesscore.

Alicia Silverstone Will Return With ‘Clueless’ Series
Fans’ love forCluelesshas only grown over the years as one generation passed down the cult classic to another. Given fans’ love, it was recently revealed that aCluelessseries is in the works with Silverstoneset to reprise her role as the one and only Cher. In addition to reprising her iconic role,Silverstone will also executive produce the projectalongside the original film’s writer and director, Heckerling, and producer,Robert Lawrence. Writing areGossip Girl’sJosh SchwartzandStephanie Savage, who will pen the follow-up series.
